Organising a funeral may be one of the most challenging things you will ever have to do, at one of the the most painful times in your life. I work with sensitivity, care and empathy, so you are supported and in safe hands.

I am a trained funeral celebrant, creating  funeral ceremonies that enable you to say good-bye from the heart; beautiful send-offs - with poems, readings, songs and music, that really reflect what you feel and what you want to say. I can guide you through the many options of words, music and pictures, as well as  suggesting ways you can be involved.  We can decide together how to create the right atmosphere and how to include people- especially children -  as depending on the circumstances, they can benefit a great deal from taking part.

I work closely with the Funeral Arranger  and the Funeral Director, as well as the Crematorium, Cemetery or Burial Ground. This enables us to ensure  that your Celebration of Life is everything you want it to be.

After our initial chat on the phone, I will listen very carefully to everything you  tell me about your loved one,  so that I have a really good understanding of the span of their life and what it meant to those around them. I will also contact other members of the family, colleagues or friends if you wish them to contribute a eulogy or tribute.

Next Steps...

I will  email you a draft of the funeral script and eulogy - the words that tell the story and celebrate the life - and you can make any additions or revisions you feel will be right.

At the funeral, I can deliver all or, part of the ceremony and would encourage you to be included as much as you feel able to.

Funerals can be such a sad time, but they can also be incredibly uplifting, a chance to reflect on what has happened  and to acknowledge the struggles and to celebrate their  life, however it was lived and experienced.

I look forward to working with you.
